The following auto configuration mechanisms will be supported for end user email clients:
- Mozilla Thunderbird
- Microsoft Outlook
- Apple configuration profiles (view with Safari only)
- Microsoft ActiveSync https://webmail.backschues.net/
For a manual configuration of end user email clients the following settings are required:
- Inbound: imap.backschues.net TCP/IP port 993 IMAPS Encryption: SSL/TLS
- Outbound: smtp.backschues.net TCP/IP port 465 SMTPS based on RFC 8314 using TLS Encryption with a standard rate limit of 100 emails/user/day with max. 100 recepients per email
- Sieve: imap.backschues.net TCP/IP port 4190 ManageSieve Encryption: SSL/TLS
Please do not use IP addresses! Please use this hostnames only. SNI is not supported.
For further anonymous analysis please move Spam to the Junk folder of your mailbox.
The Webmail Interface is available at https://webmail.backschues.net/. One-Time Passwords (OTP) and PGP encryption will be supported.
