Outbound emails will be send through the following systems:

All outbound emails comply with the following policies:

  • prefer transport layer security (TLS) based on Perfect Forward Secrecy (PFS)
  • for some remote email services TLS is mandatory, consider Mail Transfer Agent Strict Transport Security (MTA-STS) and DNS-based Authentication of Named Entities (DANE)
  • properly authentication using SPF
  • contain a valid DKIM and in the case that an email is forwarded an ARC signature
  • corroborated with a DMARC policy
  • are rate limit controlled
  • are virus scanned

Email classifications:

  • Emails with a subdomain like mail.example.com are high‑priority, machine‑generated transactional emails with maximum validity and authenticity.  
  • Emails with a subdomain like lists.example.com were sent through a mailing list service.
